Experiencing low self esteem, particularly after a relationship breakdown is not uncommon. People with low self esteem will generally find they can relate to the words below the line in the following picture.
Throughout my own journey as a single parent I found myself living my life with a victim mentality, sitting there below the line. It wasn’t until this concept was presented to me through coaching that I realized I had a choice to be able to change things. With a coach to guide and challenge me I now live far more of my life above the line these days and love assisting others to learn self esteem boosting activities and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
My aim is to assist others, particularly other single parents, to learn to live above the line and reach for the stars. If you find yourself feeling sad, lonely, overwhelmed or just not enjoying or liking where your life is currently at, your not alone, it wasn’t many years ago that I was in a similar position. Having been a single parent for many years I understand well the various challenges single parents face. Some of the challenges I’ve faced as a single parent, or in most cases imposed on myself include; being single and pregnant whilst studying for my nursing degree and working night duty, working which for the most part was night duty, studying various subjects over the years all whilst still working, brought and sold property with some renovations thrown in for good measure and started my own coaching business.
